Do you feel that there is something wrong with this search effort? There seems to be on urgency to put out information. I mean when it takes three months to tell about the cell phone and the clothing that Theresa was wearing when last seen. There hasn't been any official pictures of the SUV that was, evidently, used to transport the missing person on 3-21-07. Who is being protected? The officials in Georgia could take some lessons from the Jessie Davis case up in Ohio!

There are pictures of the Forerunner on www.findtheresaparker.com although it has not been proven that was the vehicle used to transport .

I don't believe there has been any coverup so I'm not sure why this info wasn't released sooner or pursued more, but I too must admit I wonder myself why a picture of the vehicle wasn't released sooner, especially knowing about the fact that an officer reportedly saw Sam's vehicle there that morning and Theresa's gone and then Theresa's back and Sam's gone. That leads me to believe that Sam used Theresa's vehicle to transport her and I think maybe if the picture had been released sooner closer to the date of 03/21 that somebody might have remembered seeing the vehicle a certain place around a certain time, etc. Do you feel that there is something wrong with this search effort? There seems to be on urgency to put out information. Has there been any more information posted since they requested that everyone search their property? I have heard nothing? Anymore pressure being placed on SP?

I don;t think they really want to know what happened. I think they will pursue the leads and investigate properly since the Gbi and FBI are on board. But, really I think to LE if they have the answers to this case they are going to have a lot more questions about thier own involvement and I think they dread that day. I think they will do the right thing in the end at this point, but I am sure they are not looking forward to it as there will only be more questions than answers and they don't wanna go there.

Well as the story unfolds, it looks like SP has Waco-ed himself while he was walking along Ruby Ridge. Looks like he acted to quickly to murder his wife and while he and BS the attorney where on their fishing trip BS advised him to go check on the divorce papers. The divorce papers had not been signed by Theresa, so he Waco-ed himself and it just proves that the attorney and SP are obstructing justice by not being truthful with LE! SAM L. PARKER IF YOU HAVE ANY CONSCIENCE TELL WHERE THERESA IS LOCATED SO THIS FAMILY CAN HAVE SOME PEACE OF MIND AND GIVE HER A PROPER BURIAL! You will caught up with sooner or later. Go ahead and make it SOONER, Please!

If LE wanted to cover this up and save SP, they would do things much differently than they're doing them now. For example, have his bestest buddy on the force (who hasn't been fired yet) bring him to the station and confess. He'll be arrested and there will be a trial....right before the trial, have SP claim "my bestest buddy, Officer _________, told me that no matter what, he was a representative of the state (which he is) and he promised me that he would not use my statement against me (any statement made under threat or promise is considered coerced and not admissible at trial) AND any evidence found as a result of the statement such as her body, etc would be inadmissible. Have his bestest buddy Officer ____________ then say, "Oh yeah, I did promise him that, was that wrong? Did I mess up? Whoops." the possibilities are endless in how they could save SP if they really wanted to.

rome - you always bring insight, ('tho we sometimes have difficulty accepting it), and help keep us balanced in the "legal" arena. It's good having a cop on the beat here to show how evidence is best used. ....Thanks.
BTW .... I'll have to look this up again, but I believe I saw where that "bestest buddy" had resigned.

Is there any one out there that does know if Parker's best " buddy " resigned from the force ? If so...Do you know when he resigned and what reason he gave for resigning?

Yes, it was Ben Chaffin who resigned. It's on the news channel 9 article about the hole found in Sam's timeline. I'm sure it is because of his arrest for lying in the disappearance. Is there any one out there that does know if Parker's best " buddy " resigned from the force ? If so...Do you know when he resigned and what reason he gave for resigning? W

Hi Willow......As GaGal said it was Ben Chaffin that resigned from the force. I am not sure what the reason was for resigning he gave them. The news article stated he resigned last month.

I wasn't necessarily saying it had to be Ben Chaffin. Any officer could do this for him. Here's anothe prediction, the only reason I believe he hasn't skipped out yet is that he knows how guilty it will make him look and he's still hoping for no arrest or a weak case if he is arrested.....If the body is found or its finding is imminent, count on him skipping or being caught trying to skip out....if he gets gone, good luck finding him. Cops know better than anyone how to "get lost"

Nanas.....like most police agencies in NW Ga, I'm certain that Lafayette's retirement for police officers goes something like this.........Work til you're 65, then you can retire. It leads to police officer's who are not in the shape physically or mentally to continue working to put food on the table. Lafayette is not alone in this problem. Go southward through the state and it changes at Bartow County, they have a 20 yr and 25 yr retirement program. But north of that, counties, cities like to tie their police officer pay and retirement in with other segments such as public works, water dept, etc. That might have something to do with what you're asking.
