www.newschannel9.com/articles/parker_13599___article.html/sam_day.htmlGap discovered in Sam Parker's alibi for the Thursday after Theresa was last seen. He claims to have been at the home early in the morning to pick up a motor for his boat for a fishing trip to Summerville with Bill Slack, a local attorney. The claim was that they didn't arrive back in Lafayette until around 3:00. The news channel 9 confirmed that Sam was in the lawyer's office from 11:30-12:00 to check on the status of the divorce and pick up a copy of the divorce papers. This makes me wonder if he went fishing at all because why lie about what time you got back because whether he got back at 11:30 or 3:00 that still gives him plenty of time that was unaccounted for until Saturday, plus all of Wednesday night until 7:30 that morning was unaccounted for so lying about those hours didn't help him any............ ?? That makes me believe the fishing trip was all a lie and Slack just messed up w/ the time when first asked because he didn't know about Sam going to the lawyer's office.....Sam probably needed an aliby for being at Theresa's home early that morning when seen by the police so he got Slack to lie for him so he could say he was there to get the boat motor............

In an odd sorta way, and as troubling as it is to know that prominent people are fabricating stories for Sam, this is also a relief. It has been to long coming for people to have some little or Big something to say that there is progress being made, and certainly in my opinion building a stonger case against Sam!

I think at this point, that all of our law officials in Walker County need to be hammered. They're slowly getting caught one at a time on the opposite side of the law after swearing in to do a job here in our town. I'm very saddened to see that it took this tragedy to open peoples eyes here. I pray Theresa will be found everyday. They should lock Sam, Bill, and Ben up and wait for one to crack on their stories or lies. If that was one of us lying or having some mix ups on times or dates, we would be sitting in the county jail waiting to see a judge or something. Pray for Theresa daily that she will be home soon or something in this case will break. I know this family and my prayers are with you, just keep your faith and hope from day to day.

I guess when people start asking questions they'll arrest Chaffin again and bring him to LaFayette againand he'll make bond....again.Then Law Enforcement can say they are making progress since they have arrested the same man..again.Then they'll think we'll believe them again and we'll leave them to their investigation and go on about our business again.I would like only a few questions answered.1. Was she seeing some one while she was married to Sam and if so was this person ruled out? 2. What did Sam stand to benefit from her being gone? 3. Does Chaffin have a personal connection to Theresa? 4. Where did the money that Sam gave her go?5. I would bring in Bill Slack and I would want details about the fishing trip with Sam and I would make sure he could come up with proof. They know what happened to her but there is a difference what you know and what you can prove. My best to Theresa's family I hope she is found soon.
