This is probably nothing, but this was on the News Channel 7 website. I know the clothing doesn't match but everything else was close. It takes us 3 hours to drive from Greenville to Rome.

**October 15 Update**
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has releaseed new details about the skeletal remains found October 12. Investigators describe the victim as a white female, 25 to 35 years of age, 5’05"- 5’08” in height. The deceased was wearing size 7 jeans, a hooded and sleeveless sweater, a black camisole, cream-colored sandals with a heel, according to investigators. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
**October 13**
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says that there is now a homicide investigation after remains of a body were found.
Medical examiners found an injury on Monday that would be consistent with this death being a homicide according to Master Deputy Michael Hildebrand of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
The body was found Sunday morning off Marhaven Court, near Sandy Springs Road by two people who were out for a walk. The body was discovered around 3:00pm and Tony Segars, with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office says the remains were severely decomposed.
The name of the victim and cause of death have not been released, but investigators think the victim is a female.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has 16 missing persons cases this year and about 50 over the last few years.
They believe the person may have been killed several months ago.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
