OK guys a few of us were in chat last night to wee hours this morning brain storming. I thought I would pass this on to you guys as it made sense then and did fit perfect with the timeline that has already been established and the events that have already been determined to take place.
Theresa leaves apt in Fort Oglethorpe earlier than predicted, drives home (to the Cordell Road home).
Sam is there wanting to talk/wanting her to go with him to his dads home in Trion (being that they were planning a sale) to give her something that his dad would have liked for her to have.
Theresa calls her sister, to let her know that she is going to be with Sam and that they are going to talk (as it was said that they were getting along really well)**this would explain the unanswered call to her sisters**
Theresa and Sam leave in the Forerunner, leaving his truck at the residence (**reason when the officer rode by Sam's truck was there, there was no struggle in the home, and her keys purse and cellphone were not in the home). Sometime before they can make it back, something sets Sam off (we do know that Sam usually drinks when he isn't working) Maybe they were close to Ridgeway when this happened and Theresa attempts a call from her cellphone (**ping in Ridgeway area after 12a.m.) Sam lets his temper combined with the drinking get the best of him and harms Theresa at this point (I am sure that there is more to what happened to get him to this point of rage). Knowing that she has just made a call/attempted to he can't leave her at Ridgeway, this is when he makes the call to Ben for help (**noted Ben received a call around 2 a.m. from Sam, while he was with another friend at Bud's drinking and eatting wings) Ben then leaves Bud's to meet with Sam (this would take approx 1 hr) so around 3 they are meeting up, either at the Cordell home or another location (I am guessing another location so that Sam wouldn't be spotted in the Forerunner at the home). . . Once they met and Ben realizes what has went down, he is faced with 2 choices - to report Sam, meaning turning on a brother officer and friend and being an outcast for doing that OR helping Sam and becoming an accessory. He chose the later after Sam convinced him that he had to do it, that Theresa made him do it (as most abuser do seem to think)... After that is when Sam and Ben go to the unknown location....
This could also explain the blood in the Forerunner and the missing carpet pieces, as the body would lose fluids within seconds of death.
We do know from a source that Sam did have difficulties with lifting and even was in pain to walk after his hip replacements, so that is where Ben comes in to help.
What do you think?
