Could this be the clue that ends it all?
Ben Chaffin said something about a flashing light but he couldn't remember where?
Where all in Walker/Chattooga are there flashing lights?

WAS BC SO DRUNK THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHICH DIRECTION THEY WENT WHEN THEY LEFT TP'S HOME? IT IS A PITTY HE WASN'T STOPPED ON HIS WAY THERE AND PUT IN JAIL. MAYBE THERE WOULDN'T BE SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.
IS THERE NOT A FLASHING LIGHT WHEN YOU GO BY THE WAL-MART LIKE YOU WAS GOING TO TRENTON? THERE WOULD BE CAVES, DEEP DROP OFFS OVER THAT WAY.

Could have been so drunk, but my guess would be selective memory.

I worked a case one time where the victim could only remember a flashing light....turns out it was one of those lights on top of Antenna Towers....that would also be much more remote.

I wonder if that is true or just one of the rumors that has gotten started.....if he actually remembered helping Sam but couldn't remember where they took Theresa, it seems that if he admitted that he would have been arrested for not only lying to authorities but also as an accomplice or party to a murder..... ? I mean I hope it is true so that there is more evidence against Sam and hopefully if he was honestly just drunk and was blacking out that more things will eventually come back to him. Some people have said that isn't possible for you to be drunk enough but still be functioning that you don't remember stuff but I know it can happen. I have to admit - the very first time I drank anything more than a wine cooler and was going to a club where I knew I wouldn't be able to buy anything to drink, I drank way too much way too fast before we left the house. I woke up the next morning and didn't remember a single thing. My friends told me about the entire night and said for at least 3 or 4 hours I was talking normal, walking around, dancing when we got to the club, not falling or anything, although they said they could tell I was "a little tipsy" and was doing things out of the norm of how I usually acted. About 3 or 4 hours after 1st drinking the alcohol and me not drinking anything else, they finally had to carry me in the car and let me sleep until they got ready to leave. I had no recollection of absolutely anything....not even of leaving the house and driving to the club. The whole night was a blur. I think I've told a little too much info and hope you guys don't think I'm some drunk (hey I was only 17 and didn't know the difference between the wine coolers I was used to drinking and the harder stuff I drank that night for the 1st time)...needless to say, I learned my lesson and what I can tolerate and to take my time and that's never happened again. (I'm also thankful I had good friends who watched after me that night, LOL). I only told the story because I think it is possible this is true although it is also possible he is usng it as an excuse but I think if he really told that much, that Sam did it and he helped bury her, then he would go ahead and tell where she is if he could remember.

I somehow missed the story about the flashing light. Was that a news story? I missed the whole thing about him maybe being in the car with SP. Can someone direct me to the original entry or story about this? Thanks.

I THINK THEY HAVE THE FLASHING LIGHT UP FOR TWO REASONS 1. THE FIRE STATION IS RIGHT THERE 2. THERE IS A SHARP CURVE THERE AND THERE ARE FIVE CROSSES ON THE BANK ON THE LEFT SIDE AS YOU ARE GOING TO RINGGOLD. LIKE FIVE PEOPLE WERE KILLED THERE. THERE IS A CHURCH ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE ROAD JUST RIGHT THERE. CAUTION -- BAD INTERSECTION. THERE IS A ROAD TO THE RIGHT.

Y'all are talking of flashing lights. Well y'all also forgot about the ones near Cordell Ave on the hill top were they are 3 towers there. I think instead of concentrating on Ridgway we should all get together and do a radial sweep starting from SP's house all the way to Coffman Springs Rd., Hwy. 27, the east side of Cordell Ave. and to Hwy 136 E. That's all I have for now.

YOU KNOW THERE ARE RED FLASHING LIGHTS AND THERE ARE YELLOW FLASHING LIGHTS. WHEN I TALKED ABOUT THE ONE ON HWY 151 AT THE FIRE HALL IT IS YELLOW. ARE THE ONES ON THE TOWERS NEAR CORDELL AVE. RED? I HAVE NEVER HEARD WHAT COLOR LIGHT BC WAS TO HAVE SEEN. ANYBODY KNOW? ? JUST READING & THINKING.

out in left/right field here but BC lived across Taylors Ridge right? they could have gone thay and there are two maybe three cell towers there and you would not beleive the road that goes across the top of that ridge all they way to Trion, and there places that you could very eazyly get lost or even hide someone or someything, I have been across this road many times hunting and partying in my young/dumb years. but remember this is just a thought.
