Hello all, I have been reading up on much that has been said about Sam and the circumstances surrounding Theresa's disappearance, and the one thing that is still bothering me, among many mind you, was her cell phone pings that happened in South Walker County. I live in Pennsylvania so I've been looking for any maps that I can find around where those cell pings were recorded. I have found where Walker County is, but not sure just exactly where around there those pings came from. Can anyone tell me just where in Walker County that happened, what towns, cities, etc was it around. If I know where I may be able to closer pinpoint where a likely place would be to take a look for Theresa. I'm sure that this has already been done by Law Enforcement, but it's really bothering me. I have two websites that I've had now, one I've had for a number of years, and I've dedicated it to Dru Sjodin, a girl who went missing from Grand Forks, ND in 2003. Her cell phone also gave out pings, which hit two cell towers and they were able to come close to where he body was eventually located nearly 6 months later. I also have a new website that I've created, if only for myself on missing and unidentified people, also sex offenders. I'd really like to possibly help you and your family to find Theresa. Here are my websites: www.mysticsnowangel.proboards27.com/anniemyth.proboards82.com/Even more important than my websites, Theresa, and where that cell phone pinged. Please advise.

This is what I've read:
LaFayette is the area they lived in.
Cordell Road is where their home was.
59 Flagstone Drive in Fort Oglethorpe is where Theresa was moving to.
They used Global Positioning to look for the cell phone in these areas, south of LaFayette and north of the Chattanooga County bounded by Taylor's Ridge in the east and Pigeon Mountain in the west.
Sometime after midnight on Thursday, 22nd there was a cell call placed, but we don't know to whom because LE won't tell.
What I really am asking, is where are the cell towers located that picked up that call?

It's the border of Chattooga County, which is just south of Walker County (not Chattanooga; that may be what is sort of confusing you). They said they weren't able to pinpoint the phone range down to closer than a 40-mile radius so all we know is the south part of Walker County and north part of Chattooga County is where the pings were. Where Theresa lived on Cordell Road is actually on the south side of Walker County pretty close to the Chattooga County line. Sorry I can't be of more help; we all wish we knew a closer area of where her phone was when those pings came in.

Just trying to put this all together in my own mind. Theresa worked until 7:00 am which would have been Wednesday morning. She was going to go over to clean up her new place and get ready to move things in there at Flagstone Drive on Thurdsay after spending the night at the old residence on Cordell Rd.
We know that on Wednesday she was ok, and had spoken to her sister at around 9:30 pm on Wednesday, face to face. She said that she would be cleaning the new place and would probably be there until around midnight on Wed. We know that she was indeed there at the new place because a neighbor says that around 10:15 they saw her talking on her cell phone outside.
So, at that point we aren't sure just who she was talking to, or why. We know that she did make it home back to Cordell Rd. because her car is there on Thursday morning.
If Theresa had left her new place right then, after 10:15pm on Wed. she would have had to have driven more than 24 miles in 29 minutes to have had the phone call placed to her sister at 10:44pm from Cordell Rd. residence. So could it have been her, and the neighbor seeing Theresa talking on her cell phone outside, just got the times wrong?
If it was her, then why did she return to the Cordell Rd. residence sooner than she had expected to? If it was Sam that called the sister, why was he there at the Cordell Rd. residence when he had no reason to be there, when he was staying at his fathers residence?
So really, after that 10:15pm call that Theresa made from her new place, that was seen by the neighbor, no one other than the person that took her, knows what happened after that time.
I'd like to know if her bed was slept in, if it was crumpled or at least looked like she had slept in it. I'd like to know if Sam had been there at all that evening.
We know that around 6:00am on Thursday he went over to the Cordell Rd. residence to pick up his boat, he said that the bedroom door was closed so he didn't go in to see if Theresa was there, her car was. He went on a fishing outing with Slack, but apparently also stopped at Theresa's lawyers office to pick up divorce papers, apparently after his outing, then took the boat back to the residence.
He says that Theresa's car was still there, but she wasn't.
To my way of thinking, that 10:15pm call was a very important piece of this puzzle. Who did she talk to. The police would be the only ones who know that answer to this because they would be able to obtain her phone records.
Then, there is this other cell phone call that pinged sometime after midnight on Thursday from south of Lafayette. Theresa's new place way way north of the Cordell Rd. residence. The only person/persons who had been south would have been Sam and Slack on Thursday.
For Theresa's cell phone to have been that far south, either Sam had it, had her with it, or things don't add up here.
Actually I've mapped out places that I could, but still don't know where the cell towers are located. I looked up the zip code of LaFayette and found a few spots where they list that the cell towers could be, but I need an exact location of one or more of them.
In the case of a missing girl from ND, Dru Sjodin, I had two cell towers to work with, and in mapping those out I came within about a quarter of a mile of where they eventually located her body nearly 6 months later. I don't wish to have Theresa be out there any longer than she needs to be.
Please if anyone can find out where those cell towers are located, let me know.

Annie - I'm not sure where the cell towers are but from what the police say, since it is in a rural area they say that they can't pin down where Theresa was when she made the last call to closer than a 40-mile radius b/c the towers are so spread out. I don't feel like I'm explaining that right or making sense but I hope you see what I'm saying. We all want Theresa found so bad. A lot of us that are so consumed by this case never even knew her but feel like we do now. I'm glad you have become interested in finding Theresa and thankful that people aren't forgetting her. The pings that were last from her cell phone in that area were around midnight if I remember right. It hasn't been officially reported but a lot of people have said that at least one of those pings were from a call to 911? I'm praying that Theresa is brought home sooner rather than later - wouldn't it be a wonderful gift if her family could bring her home and celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas knowing that she was resting in peace and that the person responsible for this was going to pay..........I know that's what we are all hoping for.

Yes, you are explaining that just fine. But let me explain how that spread out area can be made smaller.
When you have cell towers that are so widely spread out, it seems like there is no possible way that you can pinpoint an area smaller so that piece of property can be checked. But it can be. I know that LE have the knowledge of how to do this, but I'd like to give it a shot. I would also need the co operation of the family and friends of Theresa to go out and look at the places where I indicate.
I'm going to make you a map of where the cell towers were in the Sjodin case, and where her body was located. It will take me a little while to do this, because I haven't looked at the map on this since 2003, but you will see just how that large area becomes much smaller a place to be searched. I'll do that today and post the map. LE calls it a triangulation, I call it circles. Either way it seems to work.

This is a rough map, but the area where the circles are over lapping are key areas that are made smaller and are areas that need to be checked. This is why I need to at least know where the cell towers are. In Dru's case, we knew where two of them were. I've marked those on the map, and her body was indeed located where the area in red is triangled.
There was also a geographical profiler who was working on the same thing as I was, his name is Dr. Godwin and I'll also give you his mapping and his website, info. He was attempting to explain to me the way he is able to do this.
We at that point only had the place where Dru went missing from, the two cell towers, where a shoe was located, and where the suspect lived, but what we weren't aware of, is that he had lived on a farm with his family years back, had we also had that information to go on, both of our hits on where Dru would have been found, would have been much closer.Dr. Godwin's website and areawww.investigativepsych.com/drugeoprofile.htm

found this on a board that might help: leading a search of timber company property south of Lafayette, which is between the Parker's home and Sam Parker's family home, where he was staying while they were separated. They said that was where the last signal from the cell phone came from.

Thank you, that did help me a bit, because I was able to find where the cell towers are near LaFayette and also Trion, which is I think where Sam's family home is, or near it. Here is a circled map, inside where the area of overlap is, would be a highly interesting area to look into. The first map is of the overlap areas, and the second map would be a closer view of that area. Inside the red area that I have marked, there is also a blue one, it's close to both highways, it's a familiarly traveled area for Sam, it's south of the Cordell Rd property, and this area needs to be gone over with a fine tooth comb.

I'm hoping that someone is paying attention!

Annie. Paying attention here! Interestingly, the NW corner of your Red triangle is not far from the area searched by the 2nd volunteer party, AFTER designating that area to be the location of the last GPS signal. The Red triangle is somewhat South and East of the area searched.
The Blue triangle includes three of the main North/South corridors between LaFayette and Trion. Although, Hwy 151, fairly rural, goes to the East of Lafayette, it is accessible to Cordell Road, via Corinth Rd. and Coffman Springs Rd.
Hwy 27 is basically a straight shot South from the marital home to Trion and Summerville, but more of a main road. At the time of Theresa's disappearance, 27 was under heavy construction, with a new 2 lane road bed being added.
Old Trion Road is much more rural and runs within 5 blocks of Parker's mom and dad's home, in Trion.
There may be time for searching some of these areas this week end. Keep sending info as you comes to you.
Thanks!

I'm so glad that someone had been paying attention, I wasn't sure.
One thing that REALLY bothers me is that road construction, that would be a prime opportunity, and I just hope that's not what happened or we may never know for certain where Theresa is.

Someone on my website asked me why I took an interest in Theresa's case and this way my reply:
I've been following Theresa's case from the very beginning, I've watched Sam speak and I've gone to YouTube and pulled up EVERYTHING that I was able to find on her, along with researching and googling her name.
I don't know what hit me about the case, I think it was that she was a dispatcher, and a had been a very reliable one, the fact that she was married to a police officer hit me as odd, but then in reading more, it just didn't make sense.
The things he was saying, the way things were playing out, the boating, fishing expedition with Slack on the same day that Theresa went missing, just wasn't adding up to me, it was all way to oppertune.
It bothered me so badly that I finally had to stop my mind from thinking about it. When I would lay my head down to sleep at night, all I could do was try to put myself in her shoes that day and night, and try to do a step by step thought process of what could have happened.
I thought it out to a point where I finally could almost put it together, but there was that last phone call, what made her go home early that night, what could Sam have said to make her do that. What lure did he use. Because he said something to get her home.
I just want to add one more thing, and that is, there are WAY too many of these cases out there. There are too many people who have gone missing with no explanation and with no longer a voice to speak for themselves. I fully intend to be their voice, and I've dedicated myself to doing just that since I'm retired.
If I only help ONE person come home to their loved ones, then my purpose on earth has been accomplished.
